On Saturday myself and Donna decided to take a trip to the Body Shop in the Swords Pavilion, so after about 15 hours (not even exaggerating) of driving around the car park we finally found a parking space and we were on our way yay!! When we got there we were greeted by Shauna and Stacey and they offered me a facial AND a makeover.........eh..........SCORE!!!! So I popped myself up on the chair and let Shauna work her magic :-)
She began by cleansing my skin with the body shop Aloe cleanser, Its alcohol free and perfect for sensitive skin. I asked her, if its alcohol free and all how come it smells soooo good?? (tryin to be all smart like). She assured me that that smell was her hand sanitiser, also available in the body shop. Hahaha.......erm....oops
Anyway, after I was all lovely and cleansed, Shauna then exfoliated my skin with the Aloe exfoliator and followed that with Aloe soothing day cream.
So there I was all clean and ready for my make-up. We decided to go for a natural look, kind of a less is more type of thing which is a huge change for me because I like to be caked in make-up, oh how I love a good mask. Anyway, She began with the foundation, No.2 moisture foundation and applied translucent loose face powder. I didnt think I could wear face powder as it goes all cakey on my skin but I have to say, this one didnt do that at all, it felt like I wasnt wearing any, it was great!! Now, I cant remember what blusher was used and Donna forgot to write it down (I may have to think about sacking that girl) but it was a lovely pale pink colour. Then for my eye shadow she used this, a lily cole shimmer cube
and then some eye popping Super Volume Mascara, if ya dont already have this mascara and shimmer cube your gonna be needing to get em, The shimmer cubes come in about a trillion different colours and its just good quality make up and the mascara is just beautiful!!!! To complete my look Shauna applied Colour glide lipshine in shell pink.
