Stuff a Beauty Blogger Says

Before I begin, this post is in no way intended to be bitchy or offend
anyone, I just find myself typing the same things over and over
again, and I thought it may be fun to to make a little post
about words and phrases I see cropping up a lot.

Soft and Buttery
A term used to describe eyeshadow, everytime I write this I want to
STAB MYSELF IN THE FUCKIN FACE.

Amazing
Also see, Ah..Mah..Zing, UH..Mazing and my personal favourite
Amazeballs, My mission from here on in is to learn some
more descriptive words.

This parcel just landed on my desk
What desk? You work in a Shop/Coal mine.

Its nice but its not for me
This is a normally in reference to a PR sample that you hate,
I love giving reviews of shit that I hate, but if its a sample
I really hate to look ungrateful or offend anyone.

I'm buying this for the blog
We're not.

Follow for Follow
Normally left in your comments, saying this will make me less likely
follow you.

Cute post, Check out my post blah blah blah
Another one in the comments, normally left after you have blogged
about you dead Granny or something equally miserable.

I love your blog
Really?? How come you don't follow it, or ever comment on my posts?

This is my cat
About 80% of beauty bloggers own a cat, My cat died,
please don't write "Cute Post" under this.

I am in love with this
Do I even know what real love is?

As, I said I am only really taking the piss out of myself so please don't take
offence.

Have you noticed yourself saying the same phrases over and over again?
let me know in the comments.

  4. Lol! I guess we should say 'I am very attracted to this product, but I just cant fully commit as there are other products that I am very much attracted to as well"

  5. I also noticed that a lot of bloggers have cats and feature them on their blogs... I noticed that a lot of people who write letters have cats too. Maybe people who have a tendancy to write are inspired my feline friends! I hate those follow for a follow comments too. If you like a blog just follow it! No contract needed! :)

  9. "Cute post, left after you have blogged about your dead granny or something equally as miserable" Ah ha ha ha ha!!! That's both hilarious and so true, I've seen that so many times. I wrote a big ranty feminist post before and this comment after it goes "so fashionable darling, follow for follow?" I was like- wtf??

  15. This is hilarious. :') I hardly every say the things I write in my blog in real life. Other things i've noticed are: "smells/looks good enough to eat!" (yeah, but it's probably toxic and tastes vile) or "blends like a dream" (whut? dreams are blendable?) idk.

  19. this is possibly the best post, ever. I have to say I'm guilty of not commenting on people's blogs that I like just because (whisper it) I can't be bothered sometimes. But I always find myself trying to come up with a million different ways to say product, formula, ect...

  20. Ha ha hilarious. This is like a how-to auto-create a blog review post using word salad.

This parcel just landed on my desk. I know that I work in a coalmine, but I still have a desk. It contained the most UH-mazing balls. I bought them for the blog. They're so soft and buttery, I am totes in love with them. In the meantime, here is a picture of a cat. It's not my cat, but it's a cat. Cats are nice but not for me, personally. Even free cats. Check out my other blog posts and leave me a message in the comments if you want a follow-for-follow.

I hate when people say Buttery. I for one, do not want to put a 'buttery' eyeshadow on my eyelids. It sounds disgusting.
