Last year, while on my "perfect foundation" quest, I spent a lot of time
on the interwebs researching the vast amount of foundations, new and
old on the market. My needs are simple, Full cover and Natural finish,
Time and time again Vichy DermaBlend popped up in my google
search, so I went on a little trip to my local pharmacy and I
picked up the liquid foundation, these were back in my
overly self tanned days, which would explain the shade I chose.
Vichy Dermablend is a corrective foundation, and can be used to cover
Scars, Tattoos and any blemishes you may have, I wanted to try this
to cover my beetroot red visage which seems to shine through
light cover foundations, absolute bane of my life.
First thing I
noticed about this was a little goes a long way, its very opaque
and covers all in only light application, no need for building
up product here, I was delighted with the stuff, but my style
changed, Lately I have embraced my pale and interesting side, and found
myself with a surplus stock in the Gold shade, Around the same time
my Mum,, who I have spoken about before, had a operation to remove
lump from her face caused by skin cancer, she was left with
quite a big scar on her face that left her self conscious, so we
tried out my DermaBlend liquid foundation and it covered her scar a treat.
Recently I was sent the DermaBlend Cream Stick to try..
The Porcelain shade is a grand match for my skin, and like the liquid version
only a small swipe across the skin and a quick blend with a brush will suffice,
It feels light on the skin but at the same time covers a multitude, giving a flawless
You can also pick up a DermaBlend setting powder which I am dying to
try, I have seen great reviews from Viva Adonis who say it sets
Makeup perfectly and helps it last all day.
Have you tried any of the Vichy DermaBlend range?
What did you think?

I have all three of those products. Had the Cream stick for about a year and its great for blemishes and the like, really good coverage. I love the setting powder too. I use it everyday - its very fine and blends very easily.
ReplyDeleteI've bought the foundation and love it. Bought it again and I feel like it separates on my skin now so I use it in places like my chin for extra coverage. I still do love it though. xx
I'm really dying to try the powder now
DeleteDermablend is the bomb!
ReplyDeleteThe bomb diggity
DeleteLooks like it gives great coverage!
ReplyDeleteTotally, best coverage I've ever seen
DeleteI have been dying to try this to cover my acne areas but I'm afraid it would look cake-y on the skin. Must take the plunge and just get it!

I really want the Vichy liquid and stick foundation. I tested it out after i had purchased my Estee Lauder Max cover foundation so couldn't justify buying it, yet.
ReplyDeleteMy colour would be Opal and i think it seems a much more forgiving all over coverage compared to my Estee Lauder mx cover. I have a feeling it wouldn't feel so mask like if i used it all over.
Great post.
