Its not often I type the words Irish Rain in a context that's not entirely delighted, but today its with great pleasure as I am introducing a brand new Irish skincare brand. Irish Rain Natural Skincare is described by the founders "As pure as Irish rain" and contains organic ingredients, no chemical nasties and cruelty free. I was sent a beautifully packaged selection of the range to review. It was like getting an early Christmas gift.
Revitalising Facial Oil €19.99
The Revitalising Facial Oil comes in a 30ml old style glass bottle with a dropper to dispense the product. This contains the wonder ingredient Rosehip Oil combined with essential oils such as Lavender, Sandalwood and Cardamon. I have been using this mainly at night as a hydrating treat for the skin. Its a really light oil that absorbs quickly without leaving a residue. I have been waking up with soft and supple skin. Ladies with dry skin will love this, although if you have oily skin like me don't be afraid of oils like these, maybe just stick to using them at night. I reckon this is a great budget friendly alternative to Trilogy Rosehip Oil.
Regenerating Cellular Repair Cream €24.99
The Regenerating Cellular Repair Cream comes in a heavy glass jar that makes it feel quite expensive and luxurious. The rich cream can be used day or night and works deep down within the skin, regenerating cells to slow down aging and holding in moisture. It contains a whole host of essential oils that do everything from smoothing out wrinkles to controlling excess production of oil. This is a fantastic all rounder and suits all skin types.
Nourishing Restorative Body Oil €29.99
Now, you are all going to love this Nourishing Body Oil, because forget the title, this baby can be used anywhere, like your hair, face, nails and I have even been adding a few sneaky drops to my bath. This has Argan Oil in it which explains why its a little more expensive, it also has Avacado oil and both together are super nourishing and moisturising. If you only buy one oil this winter, then get this one.
