Irish Rain Natural Skincare Essential Deep Cleansing Oil

Irish rain essential deep cleansing oil review

We all have our little night time cleansing routines. There is nothing quite like removing your make up at the end of the day, its almost ritualistic. Many use just a face wash, but I prefer to go that step further and use a cleansing oil as a pre-cleanse. Cleansing oils need not be reserved for those with dry skin, Nope. My skin is on the oily side and I have been using oils on my face for years. There have been some cleansing oils that I've loved (review HERE) and some that have been just plain MEH!! (review HERE

My latest product of choice is Essential Deep Cleansing Oil  from an Irish company called Irish Rain Natural Skincare. This oil is just a dream. It has a distinctive herby scent which is down to the Lavender, Frankincence and Tea Tree essential oil. These tree essential oils are in a Sweet Almond Oil base oil, and the mixture is a powerhouse of skincare goodness.

To use I apply onto dry skin and massage slowly over my face (even the eyes, its a great eye makeup remover) you can see the make up dissolving. I then remove the oil with a damp face cloth. There is no residue left on the skin which is great, thats a little bugbear of mine. I followthis up then with a nice face wash, and skin is squeaky clean.

I was very kindly sent my Cleansing Oil by Irish natural skincare website Tantrum Natural Skincare. They specialize is products that are free from chemicals and are Natural and Organic. They have everything from skincare, suncare, first aid and kids products. Give them a visit on their website www.tantrum.ie  where you can pick up the Essential Deep Cleansing Oil for €19.99.

  1. Hi Donna,

Nice review! I'm looking forward to trying this cleansing oil. It's natural, organic and has my favorite ingredients - lavender, frankincense and tea tree oil - :) I too have oily/combination skin prone to breakouts, so I'm going to try this and see how I get on with it.

    Thanks for sharing!
